but despite that there are some things that peeps doesn't know
so for the benefit of everybody...

Situation: Hey! I forgot my ID, could you get us in?Based on previous experience, whenever I wasn't on the GL, I'd ask a friend of mine which names weren't used yet so that I could get in. Plus, with the whole issue of minors getting into clubs, most establishments really require that you bring proper identification.So, no, we can't get you in without an ID.LEAVE ATTITUDE AT THE DOOR.Situation: What?!? What do you mean I can't get in?!? I know (insert name of some famous person here)! I always go here! I'm here every week!There are thousands upon thousands of people who come and go every week. That isn't just once a week. Not to mention, there's about a minimum of 3 gimmick days in a week!So, no, I don't know who you are and whoever you know can't help you.PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.Situation: (SMS) Hi names for GL tonight: names, names, names.Hi names for GL tonight: names, names, names.Hi names for GL tonight: names, names, names.Hi names for GL tonight: names, names, names.Hi names for GL tonight: names, names, names.Hi names for GL tonight: names, names, names.People. I would think that Globe, Smart, Sun, TM or whatever cellular network, works well enough to ensure that your message gets sent. Just wait for us to confirm and if we don't before the day ends or before cut-off then I guess you can start asking why we don't reply. But I do believe that promoters are responsible enough to reply to your texts anyway.So, please, stop abusing unlitxt!!!!WE ARE HUMANS. YES, WE DO SLEEP TOO.Situation: 26 Missed Calls @ 5AM.Most promoters have event nights back to back. Their nights start around 8PM and go as late as 4AM. 4AM til around 3PM is pretty much dreamland time.So, please understand, they do sleep too.NO ONE LIKES BEING STOOD UP.Situation: GL of about 20+ people. None of them show up.Promoters get bombarded with texts or emails of your names. Type them all up, check for duplicates and make sure they don't make typos. Only to be disappointed when you don't show up. Yes, when I say SURE PEOPLE ONLY, I mean it. I do check after every event night which ones do or don't go.So, next time, hopefully when you say that you are going, please do.THIS IS NOT A CHARITABLE INSTITUTION.Situation: Hi! Andun na po ba names namin sa GL? Ano pong drinks kasama nun?I don't even want to explain this hahaha I don't know what to say.TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.Situation: Hi, papunta na po kami pero male-late po, pwede po bang i-extend yung GL?This isn't school where you're allowed extensions every once in a while. Like a friend of mine said, we just reserve a spot for you there, we hope you appreciate that enough to show up on time.WHAT ARE YOU, A COMBO MEAL?!?Situation: For GL, Name + 10.

You are on the guestlist because you are our guests and we'd like to get to know you.YOU THINK YOU KNOW, BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA.Most people think this is the easiest job in the world, not knowing the many troubles we go through. Although we do enjoy what we do, there are people who do not seem to know a lot about what we do. Our job is not just how these "Inviters" or "Guestlisters" claim to do. We provide a service that doesn't end with just us typing a guestlist, we want to get to know you and be part of your clubbing experience.
